one week shy...

...of 9 months pregnant!

Sister took this picture of me at my Baby Shower on Saturday.
Grayson and I had such a lovely shower and got lots and lots of goodies for him.
Only 4 more weeks to go and he'll get to use all the fun stuff he got.
I can't wait.

my little nugget's room

This post, and the posts to come, are to suffice my dear sister for a while. She keeps telling me to update my blog with pictures of our ~Grayson's and mine~ new home. I figure I'll reveal each room in steps as to not overwhelm blogger with pictures.
I had to start with the most important room of all. Where my little baby boy will lay his baby head. And what is even more special is that this is the room that I grew up in.
Thank you Momma for painting the walls (all by yourself) so my son wouldn't have to sleep in a purple bedroom (my choice of color when I called this room home).

reception

A reception was held for Dad after the evening service on Sunday to honor his graduation achievements. As you know, he has earned his Masters degree from Luther Rice Seminary. He now holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership. Again, we are all so proud of his accomplishments.

Dad, I am so proud of what you have done and the way you have done it. Thank you for the example that you set.

with honors

Dad and Mom attended Dad's graduation in Atlanta, Georgia last weekend.
Dad had earned his Masters degree from Luther Rice Seminary. He was acknowledged as an honors graduate, completing coursework with a 4.0 grade point average and was also named to Who's Who.
Needless to say, we are all very proud of him.

a mess

Where I come from, this is what you call "a mess" of fish. Don't ask me where they came up with that one.
Dad took Momma with him fishin' one afternoon and this is what they brought home. Not exactly my idea of fun, but they do enjoy it.
(Oh, but I do enjoy eating them when Grandma fries them up.)

well, maybe just dad...

he's done this a couple times before, i think...

Gotta love them.
