In true "holiday" spirit, I decided to read the classic novel by Bram Stoker - DRACULA. I picked up this novel because I just love vampire/werewolf movies and stories, being it is just about the only spooky subject matter that doesn't really scare me. However, after delving into this book, I may have changed my mind about not really being scared of vampires. Hah.
But let me warn you, though this book offers all the spooky, scary twists and turns, it is not a very "fun" read. It is written as a series of letters and journals of the main characters. It tells a story, though not in a traditional sort of way. Also, it gets very descriptive and wordy at times. But with me being half-way through it thus far, I have just got to finish it.
Do yall have any favorite books that you would recommend?? I have just ordered the complete works of Edgar Allan Poe and cannot wait for the books to get here. I love his work.
